The tools I used for my vans shoe design were the quick selection tool, and the move tool. I also use the paintbrush tool. I selected the the area i wanted to add my design to, and then i used the move tool to move the design to the area i wanted it in which is why in the front of the slip on shoe it has the design along with the back of the shoe. For the middle of the shoe I just used the quick selection tool to select the middle area and then the paintbrush tool to paint the area black and thats all i did to my shoe design. My Vans shoe design is for art and its pretty simple but i think its a good design.

Paragraph #1: Explain what your block is all about? What are your pictures about? Explain how the pictures you used relate to the topic “My World”. Paragraph #2: Explain the steps you took in editing your pictures for block #2. What parts did you change in your pictures? What parts stayed the same? Paragraph #3: Explain how you used all of the tools from the chapter in your own project: Basic Photo Correction. Explain what steps you followed from the text? Explain what steps you did differently? My Block #2 is all about where i live, what i like, what i'm into and my favorite things. The picture i chose is a girl holding fairy lights and a lake in the background. This picture is related to the topic my world because i like fairy lights and the lights with the scene of water calms me down. Therefore that picture represents the meaning of "My World".
First i edited the saturation of the picture. Then i made the girl look kind of like a shadow so i selected her with the wand tool and decreased the exposure. I edited it very minimally so it kinda still looks like the same picture with very little changes. I used the saturation tool to make the colors of the pictures a little more vibrant. I also used the wand. I used the wand tool to select the only the girl. Then once i selected the girl i changed the exposure to make her look more like a shadow. I didn't really use any other tools. |
